Stream

Stream: Transactional or marketing. The ladder can pause one and leave the other sending.

A send is transactional unless you set it to marketing. Receipts, sign-in codes and support replies are transactional. An announcement to existing customers is marketing, and it carries the unsubscribe header.

Standing is kept per stream. A high complaint rate on marketing pauses marketing. Transactional mail on that account still sends. A key budget applies to both.
