How long does AgentiSend keep my emails?

AgentiSend keeps your emails and their events for the number of days your plan sets, then deletes them. Free keeps 7 days, Starter 30, Pro 90, Scale 180. GET /billing/plan returns the plan on the account, and /retention.json publishes the same figures as default_days and per_tier_days, with objects naming what the window covers. Its description says "a purge is a delete, not an archive." GET /account/export and GET /emails/export.csv are how you keep a copy that outlives the window.

What the window covers

/retention.json lists three objects: messages, message_events and audit_log. A message is the envelope, headers, subject and body GET /emails/{id} returns; its events are the rows GET /emails/{id}/events returns; the audit log is GET /audit-log. The retention policy says what is kept longer: suppressions stay, because forgetting that an address unsubscribed would mean mailing it again, and account records live as long as the account does. The aggregate counters behind the Metrics screen survive a purge because they hold no message content and no address.

What a purge does

It deletes the rows. The privacy page puts it as "A purge is a delete, not an archive: the rows are removed, and nothing is copied somewhere quieter first." There is no archive to request data back from, so a message you will need after its window has to be exported before the window ends. The figures on the pricing page and in /retention.json come from the same constant the purge job runs on, so this page does not restate them.

Keep a copy

GET /account/export — "Everything this account owns, as a zip: emails.csv (inside your retention window), suppressions.csv and domains.json. No job, no wait." GET /emails/export.csv takes since and until, so an export of last month is one request a month, and each file holds what was inside the window at the time. GET /emails/{id}/eml saves one message. Closing the account

DELETE /account — "Close this account: revoke every key, pause every budget, suspend sending. Data stays readable and exportable until the retention window ends." The reply's retention_days is the window that applies and data_removed_after is the date the rows go. Export first: the call revokes every key.
