Team

Invite people, change a role and remove a member from Settings, Team. An API key cannot make those changes. A signed-in person does.

Team is at /settings/team. Three roles: owner (billing and closing the account, as well as everything an admin does), admin (keys, domains, budgets, the kill switch, approvals, invites) and viewer (reads every screen, changes nothing).

What the screen calls

The screen reads GET /team/me, GET /team/members and GET /team/invites.

Response

Inviting, changing a role, removing a member and cancelling an invite are POST /team/invites, PATCH /team/members/{id}, DELETE /team/members/{id} and DELETE /team/invites/{id}. Each of those needs a signed-in person. An API key is refused:

An invitation link lasts 14 days. An account may send 10 invitations in a day, and fewer than that to one address in a week. Past the allowance:

Only an owner can invite another owner, or change an owner's role. An admin can invite an admin or a viewer, and can change a member between admin and viewer.

A limit of the screen

The role menu is shown only to an owner. An admin who should switch someone between admin and viewer does it with PATCH /team/members/{id}, not with that menu.
