Topic

Topic: A named kind of mail. A contact who opts out of it is skipped on sends of that kind.

Create a topic, then send with topic_id. A contact who opted out of that topic is not mailed, and the event says so. Someone who opted out of everything is on the suppression list and is skipped too.

The List-Unsubscribe header on a topic send records that opt-out. A topic is not a way to add people. It is a way for people you already mail to say which kind they still want.
